60 extranjeros marcharán en La Paz en apoyo a las Victimas de Octubre 2003
- El 17 de Octubre, por primera vez en la historia boliviana 60 extranjeros marcharán en apoyo a los Familiares Caídos por la defensa del Gas, simbólicamente vestirán de negro (luto) y llevarán cruces blancas con los nombres muertos de Octubre 2003 rumbo a la Embajada Americana. La marcha en La Paz forma parte de actividades en más de 16 ciudades mundiales que están marcando un Día Internacional de Acción en Solidaridad con Bolivia.

20 cities worldwide express solidarity with Bolivia on October 17th
- On October 17th, an unprecedented 20 cities globally will join together to mark the International Day of Action in Solidarity with Bolivia. Cities including Sydney in Australia, Paris in France, San Francisco and Washington in the US, London in the UK, Dublin in Ireland, Barcelona in Spain and Vancouver in Canada will mark the day with a range of activities from marches and rallies to speaking events and film showings.

Grant Thornton ends power of attourney granted to Cooperativistas
- UK company, Grant Thornton has extinguished the power of attorney that was given to Prudencio Pacheco, representative for Cooperativistas (FENCOMIN)after pressure from Bolivian solidarity activists. The Trade Union in Oruro, backed by UK activists said the British company shared blame for the violence over the mine that led to 16 deaths and have vowed to continue to pressure the company to drop their legal claim to Huanuni.

Delegación visitan a Bolivia para solicitar al gobierno boliviano que no envíen más militares a la Escuela de las Americas
- La Campaña para el Cierre de la Escuela de las Américas a delegación se reunirá con varias personajes del gobierno para buscar la respuesta a su solicitud de que Bolivia se sume a la lista de países que ya no enviarán tropas a esta “escuela de asesinos”. Entre sus graduados se encuentran dos de los cinco militares responsables del masacre de octubre 2003 en El Alto: Generales Juan Veliz Herrera y Gonzalo Rocabado Mercado; también el autor del asesinato del jóven Victor Hugo Daza en la Guerra de Agua: Robinson Iriarte, junto a otros notorios graduados bolivianos como: Hugo Bánzer Suárez y Luis Arce Gómez.
